About Toulouse Capitole University

TOULOUSE CAPITOLE UNIVERSITY, which mainly teaches law, economics and management, has for many years offered specialized training in the field of space applications (especially international space law, the law, economics, and management of communications, the law, economics and management of networks, the law, economics and management of intellectual and industrial property, the law and regulation of business, and the protection of data and privacy).

It brings together teams of high-level researchers and many internationally-renowned individuals, including the 2014 Nobel Prize in Economics (Prof. Jean Tirole). It has a Chair of the Digital Economy and a Laboratory of Excellence (Institute of Advanced Studies of Toulouse), which harnesses many skills in the social sciences, in emulation of Princeton University. The University’s Institute of Space Law, Territories and Communications (IDET-COM) brings together know-how and a range of expertise in the law concerning space, communications and space applications.
