Use of this website constitutes full acceptance of the general terms of use described below. These terms of use may be modified or completed at any time; consequently, users of the website are invited to consult them regularly.
This site is normally accessible to users at all times. Interruption due to technical maintenance can however be decided by SIRIUS, which will then endeavor to inform users before the date and time of the intervention.
The website is updated regularly by Lucien Rapp. Similarly, the terms and conditions may be modified at any time: they continue to apply to users, who are invited to refer to them as often as possible in order to be completely familiar with them.

3. Description of services provided
The website aims to provide information on all the company’s activities.
SIRIUS strives to post the most accurate information possible on the website. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies or failure to update the site, whether through its own fault or that of third party partners that provide SIRIUS with this information.
All information listed on the website is given for information purposes only and is subject to change. Furthermore, the information on the website is not exhaustive. It is given subject to changes subsequent to its being posted online.

4. Contractual limitations on the technical data
The site uses JavaScript technology.
Sirius cannot be held responsible for damage related to the use of the site. In addition, users agree to access the site using up-to-date equipment, not containing viruses and with the latest generation of browser.

5. Intellectual property and infringement
SIRIUS is the owner of intellectual property rights or holds the right to use all the items available on the site, including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, sounds and software.
Any reproduction, modification, publication or adaptation of all or part of the contents of the site, by whatever means or processes, is prohibited without prior written permission from SIRIUS.
Any unauthorized use of the site or any of its contents will be deemed to constitute an infringement and prosecuted in accordance with Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the Intellectual Property Code.

6. Limitations of liability
SIRIUS shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damage to the user’s equipment, when accessing the website, and resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications of Section 4, or from the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.
Nor shall SIRIUS be liable for consequential damage (including for example a loss of market or loss of opportunity) arising from use of the website.
Interactive spaces (providing an opportunity to ask questions in the contact space) are available to users. SIRIUS reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content posted in this space that would violate the law applicable in France, particularly the provisions on data protection. If applicable, SIRIUS also reserves the right to take civil and/or criminal action against the user, especially in cases of messages posted of a racist, offensive, defamatory, or pornographic nature, whatever the medium used (text, photography, etc.).

7. Personal information management
In France, personal data are protected, in particular by Law No. 78-87 of January 6, 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of October 24, 1995.
During use of the website, the following information can be collected: the URL links through which the user accessed the http: //www.chaire website, the user’s ISP, and the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address.
In any event SIRIUS collects personal information about the user and the need for certain services offered by the website. The user is deemed to provide this information with full knowledge of the facts, especially when entering such information himself or herself. In such cases, the user is informed as to whether or not there is any obligation to provide this information.
In accordance with Articles 38 et seq. of the Law 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to data processing, files and individual liberties, every user has a right of access, rectification and opposition to personal data concerning them, by submitting a written and signed request, together with a copy of the user’s identity document and the signature of the document holder, specifying the address to which the reply should be sent.
No personal information concerning a user of the website shall be published without the knowledge of the user, nor exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold to any third party on any type of support. Only the hypothetical case of the sale of SIRIUS and its rights would allow the transmission of such information to any purchaser, who would in turn be under the same obligation to store and modify data with respect to users of the http: // website.
The site is not registered with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) as it does not collect personal information.
Databases are protected by the provisions of the Law of July 1, 1998 transposing Directive 96/9/EC of March 11, 1996 on the legal protection of databases.

The website contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, set up with permission of SIRIUS. However, SIRIUS has no way to verify the content of the sites visited, and accordingly assumes no liability in this regard.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction
Any dispute in connection with the use of the website is subject to French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris.
